In Iqaluit, just this year alone, first week of July, was the greenest place I've ever seen, and then two weeks later, it was the purplest place I've ever seen because all the fireweed, it's been spreading like crazy. And, it seems like it's getting warmer, and these plants are able to adapt quicker, and gain more nourishment. And, just Iqaluit's gotten a lot greener, and a lot of them are not natural grasses. And now they're able to live here.

And another thing I've noticed is one of my co-workers brought in a wasps nest. I've heard of wood wasps getting off the ship in the summer, but they don't live very long. When this, the nest, or actually the hive, shows that they were able to get off the ship, be warm enough, find enough food, and build their nest.
