Every time I do the landscape, as an artist... every time I do the landscape, and draw it out of my memory, to me it feels like I'm over there, and not where I'm drawing it. I have to put myself in... every time I draw, I put myself in that place, in that spot, and not in my drawing area. I have to forget everything, and avoid everything, tolerate everything in order to get to my art from my feelings, up in my memory, to go with my work, like the way I want it, perfect. So, it feels like I'm over there when I'm drawing my drawing, when I do the landscape. Then, if I can't have any privacy, or if I hear too many noises, then I use my memory to do my drawing work.
