You took the time to learn how to listen. You listened to Elders carefully. You learned some Inuktitut. You learned to listen to the land - its voice... or its silence. You examined art closely, and saw the world in new ways.
I am confident that you are stronger now, ready to tackle the greatest battle humans have ever faced: saving the environment from ourselves: from our short-sightedness, from our greed, from our disrespect of the land.
You've been to Nunavut on this voyage. You've been out on the land. You can see much further. You know the role you play and responsibilities you are now better able to fulfill.
I had to learn Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit from my parents. My parents had to learn it from their parents and now, I teach it to my children and my grandchildren.
And now you are part of Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit. How can you use it to help others?
On your journey, you collected the stones to build your own Inuksuk, with a window to your future. Now you're ready: Ajunngissarputit! Ajunngiaalussarputit! Ajunngimariaalussarputit! (You're good... you're very good... YOU'RE AMAZING!!!)
