Norman had commissioned me to do this artwork of land, who is a co-worker, Norman. I was asked to draw this. The land consists of important resources, especially in the artic where Inuit live...our ancestors and the younger generation feel that the land is very important to them, since Nunavummiut wanted Nunavut to be created based on the land and Inuit Culture to promote it. This is to show our Inuit way, and that this painting resembles that.
