Did you see what trouble our earth is in? Climate change! Global warming! These are the battles we're all facing.
Inuit always knew that they were serving as keepers of this earth. Have you ever thought that you, were a steward of this planet? Yes you! Every day we each have a choice that affects whether the planet will be able to heal. There's so little time, very little. You heard from Jimmy, the hunter. And you heard from Graham, the scientist. Both saying we have to work together, put our heads together.
When I was Commissioner I tried to show what was needed by example. My wife and I went out and gathered up garbage to dispose of properly. In Iqaluit, we loaded tons of material left behind by others.
Here's how I think of it; If I don't do it, who is going to? If I don't do it, then who will? So... what are you going to do?
